A 5-year old boy from Kentucky USA accidentally shot his 2-year old sister to death yesterday with a rifle he had received as a gift last year. His mother was home when it happened but she had stepped out a few minutes infront their porch when she heard the gun shot. According to her, the rifle was positioned in a corner and the family did not know there was a bullet left in it.
It was said that the boy had a 22-caliber rifle as a gift bought from a company that specifically makes guns, clothes and books for children. This rifle was a very little one for a kid. According to the parents "The little boy's used to shooting the little gun."
Well Kentucky are known for gun handling so in as much as this is a sad news, accidents to happen. Too sad.
